Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position is responsible for supporting our growing US operations team.  Working closely with our regional leader and team you will provide financial analysis and reporting on the construction projects and ensure the payroll and state compliance reporting is completed timely and accurately.

The role will provide a variety of accounting and reporting activities to assist in effective organizational management and decision-making. This position requires the ability to work independently, utilize good judgement and initiative.


  • Coordinate payroll administration with 3rd party service providers for our US employee base
  • Ensure all payroll processes are compliant with relevant State employment standards and government agencies
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries in the accounting system.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations for review including the appropriate analysis, commentary, and management reports for use by management and shareholders.
  • Support the Projects Analyst with project margin analysis, reporting, and maintenance
  • Support and adhere to financial policies and procedures to maintain appropriate stewardship of company resources


The following are required:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • College diploma/degree in accounting
  • Accounting designation
  • Application of accounting principles
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Knowledge and experience with project cost accounting and cost accounting concepts.
