The Financial Analyst will contribute to the performance of the Finance Team by ensuring project accounting is accurate and timely.  In addition, they will provide reporting and financial analysis throughout the project lifecycle for our Project team.  This position requires the ability to work independently, utilize good judgement and initiative.


  • Support and participate with Project Management teams on Projects from inception to closure
  • Provide project financial performance reporting, analysis, and budget support to the Project Management teams
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement to ensure effective, cost efficient, and value-added delivery of services
  • Perform project reconciliations
  • Assist with project invoicing, revenue, and cost allocations/recognition as required
  • Participate in implementation of process improvements, including our ERP system
  • Perform ad hoc support for the Finance and Project Services team
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert on the ERP for the Project Life Cycle

The following are required:

  • College diploma/degree in accounting
  • 3 – 5 years experience accounting experience, preferably in a construction or project focused industry
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in project accounting, including all aspects of the project life cycle
  • Obtained or working towards an Accounting designation
  • Knowledge and experience with cost accounting and cost accounting concepts
