POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for providing support to the Sales team, through the coordination and administration of routine and diverse sales processes. A key element of this role is the management and coordination of the day to day marketing needs of the organisation. This role will be responsible for supporting the long term marketing strategy of the business, as well as supporting the development and implementation of regional and internal marketing strategies as they relate to the strategic direction of the business.

KEY ACCOUNTABILTIES

Sales:

  • Provide professional, reliable and confidential administrative support to the Sales and Project Services team
  • Work closely with customers and with the Sales and Project Services team in all activities related to sales and bidding
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate files related to bids, contracts, rate sheets, prequalification documents and related correspondence
  • Track and communicate important bid deadlines related to customer requests
  • Work with internal teams on assembling formal bid packages, including keeping bid resources up-to-date
  • Prepare, compose and initiate various high-quality documents such as letters, correspondence, memoranda, agendas, minutes, notices, forms, spreadsheets, reports, and presentation material choosing the appropriate means of communication
  • Prioritize conflicting needs; handles matter expeditiously, proactively, and follows through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
  • Coordinate and organize all aspects of meetings on site and off site
  • Proactively anticipate workflow, prioritize and follow through on tasks to completion

Marketing/Communications:

  • Provide insight and input for development of Almita core Marketing Strategy
  • Assist in the execution of regional (AB, SK/MB, Eastern Canada, US and IN) and internal (HR, Internal Communication) marketing strategy. This will help generate new sources if revenue and build brand recognition.
  • Research, draft and proofread web content, ad copy, news releases, brochures, social media and other communication/marketing materials
  • Coordinate production of communication/marketing materials (e.g., print, posters, leaflets, brochures, guides, newsletters, videos and advertisements) and liaise with suppliers and respective members of the Almita team to ensure products meet objectives and specifications, on time and within budget
  • Lead and maintain Social Media marketing activities
  • Update website
  • Assist Sales, HR, and Leadership in generating marketing material
  • Generate and organize marketing campaigns
  • Assist the Installer Network (IN) team organizing IN retreats

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

The following are required:

  • Bachelor of Commerce or Business-related degree
  • 3+ years of marketing experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in a senior clerical or bid coordination role
  • Knowledge of public relations or corporate communications principles and techniques
  • Ability to gather technical information and translate it into accessible communications/marketing materials
  • A proven ability to deliver quality content on time
  • General knowledge of advertising, media, social media, design coordination and print production
  • Proven track record of building effective working relationships; demonstrated respectful and inclusive working style
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the demonstrated experience creating formal business documentation
  • Experience and proficiency with contemporary computer technologies
