Jeff Lloyd

Jeff Lloyd
President
Jeff is responsible for leading the strategic planning for Almita and guiding the industry leading team of employees that make Almita the most respected helical piling company in North America.
Jeff is primarily responsible for client relations and strategic planning, his work includes industry forecasting and developing long-term business plans. Jeff has a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Denver.
Prior to joining Almita, Jeff had a 17 year career with a rapidly growing public company, serving as a member of the leadership team with various responsibilities including business acquisitions, legal services, real estate, and procurement. Jeff was also a member of the strategic planning team.
Jeff is currently a Director for Olsson Associates Inc., a rapidly growing professional engineering firm based in Lincoln, NE; Past Director of the Pigeon Lake Watershed Association, and Kids with Cancer Society; Past Member of the EPCOR Community Essentials Council; and Past Chair for the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association Northern Alberta Chapter.
Spending time with family is a priority for Jeff, and he particularly enjoys outdoor activities including biking, sailing, and skiing.

Joining Almita’s executive leadership team in October, 2017, Linda has the responsibility for providing financial leadership and guidance to the organization. She has direct oversight of the Finance, IT, and HR teams.
Linda is a CPA, CA and brings a diverse history of financial leadership experience which includes internal audit and Sarbanes-Oxley, international controllership, and enterprise risk management for a publicly traded, multinational organization. Linda’s experience includes consulting services, manufacturing, and natural resources businesses as well as public securities regulatory bodies.
An avid golfer and curler, Linda also volunteers with her local church and enjoys travelling and spending time with family.

Having joined Almita in November 2011, Bill is responsible for providing leadership to the regional sales and operations areas within Almita. Bill leads the Regional Management teams to direct and implement a sound strategy that will achieve Almita’s strategic and growth objectives.
With Canadian, US, and international experience in manufacturing, operations, and business management, Bill’s expertise includes streamlining management, production and business processes, lean manufacturing, planning and start-up of facilities, and managing organizational growth and change initiatives.
Bill holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BSC in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University. An avid cyclist and skier who also enjoys travel and coaching soccer, Bill has been a leader in organizing and participating in fundraising cycling events for the Sick Kids Hospital and the MS Society of Canada. Bill is co-founder and Chair of the Greenfield Dads Matter parent council that focuses on engaging male role models in the educational setting of their children.

Jeff joined Almita as an Advisory Board member in June of 2017. On August 15, 2018 Jeff transitioned to the operations leadership team in the role of Senior Vice President with primary responsibility for our US Operations.
Jeff is a senior leader with more than 35 years operational expertise in the Power and Telecommunication industries in Canada, the United States and South America, as well as several years of transmission infrastructure experience.
Originally from Ontario, where he began his career in the Telecom industry, Jeff and his family moved to Alberta for a one year assignment. Together with his wife Gwen and daughter Makana, they made Alberta home.

Rich joined the Almita operations leadership team in September of 2020 as Vice President, Project Services. On March 14, 2021, Rich transitioned to the role of Senior Vice President with primary responsibility for the operational regions throughout North America. The operational regions provide Sales and Business Development, Estimating, Engineering, Project Procurement, Project Management, Quality Assurance, and Field Operations solutions that support the delivery of Almita’s products and services to our customers.
Rich is an entrepreneurial leader with 30 years of Engineering, Construction, and Project Management experience spanning Utility (Electrical, Natural Gas & Telecommunications) and Infrastructure portfolios throughout North America. Rich has experience leading large critical infrastructure programs which included leading the Program Management Office that flawlessly delivered the communications solution to the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
Rich holds an MBA and a Graduate Certificate (Business in the Americas) from Simon Fraser University, a BTech in Construction Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), and a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from Lethbridge College. Rich enjoys participating in outdoor activities and is especially fond of running and triathlon events.

Kenna has been a member of the Almita Advisory Board since January 2020.
As Stantec’s Senior Vice President, Procurement & Real Estate, Kenna oversees all aspects of strategic sourcing and vendor management for the company. Kenna is responsible for ensuring that Stantec manages their supply chain by providing sustainable and efficient procurement. Kenna has had the opportunity to apply her expertise in strategic planning, real estate management, corporate finance, commercial leasing, securities and employment law, and intellectual property during her 10 years with Stantec.
A proud contributor to her community, Kenna has volunteered with many organizations in Edmonton and area most notably sitting as Vice Chair on the Edmonton Public Library’s Board of Trustees.
Kenna holds a Bachelor of Law, with honors from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and is a member of the Alberta Bar. Kenna also holds a Bachelor of Commerce with distinction from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta.

Robert was a member of our Board of Directors from 2005 to 2019, bringing extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, financing, and contractual relationships. In March of 2019, Robert became an Advisory Board Member and continues to provide guidance in managing growth and new opportunities in our rapidly developing industry.
Robert holds Commerce and Law degrees from the University of Alberta, and he is a partner with the law firm Ogilvie LLP.
Robert has held director positions with several public and private corporations and has served on the Board of Governors of the National Hockey League and with various charities, professional associations, and community groups.
Away from work, Robert enjoys fishing, sailing, skiing, and golf.

In January 2014, Barry James joined Lloyd Sadd Insurance Brokers in the newly created role of Chief Corporate Development Officer where he is responsible for developing strategic and corporate initiatives, managing client relationships, and assisting
with innovative business opportunities.
Barry was previously Managing Partner of the Edmonton office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), a position he held for ten years. With more than 35 years' experience, Barry served as an integral business advisor to his many Edmonton and area
clients.
Barry received a Bachelor of Commerce with distinction from the University of Alberta in 1980, qualified as a CA in 1983, and became a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants in 2007. He joined PwC in 1977 and was admitted to the partnership in 1989.
He was the Managing Partner of the Edmonton office from July 2001 to June 2011.
Barry has been actively involved in his profession, serving as a trustee of the Chartered Accountants' Education Foundation, President of the Edmonton CA Club, and as a member of the Registration Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants
of Alberta.
In the community, Barry is currently a Minister-appointed member of the Board of ATB Financial, serving as Chair of the Audit Committee, a member of the University of Alberta Board of Governors, the University of Alberta Senate, and Chair of
the Audit Committee of the Province of Alberta. He is a member of the University of Alberta Hospital Foundation Board and the Alberta Chapter of the World Presidents' Organization. He also sits on the Boards of Corus Entertainment, AutoCanada
Inc., and The Galleria. Barry is on the Advisory Board of Surehire Inc. and is co-chair of the Mayor’s Business Round Table. He has served as Chair of the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation and on the Board of Directors of the Edmonton
Convention Centre Authority, the Forest Industry Suppliers' Association of Alberta, the Edmonton Space and Science Foundation (TELUS World of Science), and the Support Network Foundation.
Barry is a member of the Downtown Rotary Club and the Royal Mayfair Golf and Country Club. He is a former member of the Alberta Squash Racquets Association and the Edmonton Strikers Soccer Club. He is a proud supporter and season ticket holder
of the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club and the FC Edmonton Soccer Club.
Barry is married to Valerie Berger and they have 3 sons aged 20, 21 and 23.

As Founding Partner and CEO of Paradyne Consulting Works LLC, Dorriah has 20+ years of experience providing guidance to Fortune 100 corporations and government entities across North America in business and management consulting, strategic planning, operations and productivity, process improvement, and profitability primarily in the construction, engineering, energy, oil and gas and specialty contractor industries. She has also served in the past as CEO of two engineering companies.
Dr. Rogers’ book Decide to Profit (2017, SelectBooks New York) is based on her lessons learned from two decades of working with high performing teams and leaders and identifying ways to grow and maintain profitability.
Dr. Rogers approaches her work strategically, with an eye towards management team efficacy, productivity, efficiency of operations, and financial streamlining. She is adept at teaming with senior executives at the highest level or rolling up her sleeves and diving into project and tactical operations.
Dorriah has been a volunteer at the Relay for Life for many years and is a proud contributor to local charities and efforts to support research in breast cancer.
She holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis and has been awarded Entrepreneur of the Year and Women Making A Difference.

Kenna has been a member of the Almita Advisory Board since January 2020.
